# Shop Ads

> Create and run a Shopee Shop Ads campaign from Epsilo, with keywords and bids you control.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Find it in** Campaigns, **Create campaign**, then Shopee and Shop Ads as the ad tool. **Last updated** 9 Oct 2026.

## Overview

Shop Ads put your shop in front of shoppers who search for your brand or category on Shopee. You create the campaign in Epsilo, Epsilo creates the matching campaign in Shopee Seller Center, and you run it from the same tables as every other network.

## Before you start

* Check the shop wallet balance. A campaign stops when the balance reaches zero.
* Decide the budget and the run window. They set your maximum spend and when the campaign may run.

## How it works

**1. Open the create form**

Go to **Campaigns** and select **Create campaign**.

**2. Fill in General**

Pick **Platform** (Shopee), **Market**, **Ad account** and **Ad tool** (Shop Ads). Enter a **Name** and the timeline.

**3. Choose how ad objects are picked**

In **Ad object selection method**, choose **Manual** to pick keywords and bids yourself, or **Auto** to let Shopee pick targeting.

**4. Set the budget**

Set the daily or total budget in **Optimization**.

**5. Add the ad object and keywords**

Add the ad object. Its name is the name shown in Seller Center. Add keywords from Epsilo's suggestions or type your own. If you leave a bid empty, Epsilo applies the minimum bid.

**6. Publish**

Select **Publish**. Epsilo creates the campaign in Seller Center.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Epsilo supports one ad object per Shop Ads campaign.

## Use it

### Pause or resume

Open the campaign and change the status on the campaign or on the ad object. See [Ad statuses](https://epsilo.ai/docs/campaigns/campaigns-and-ad-objects.md).

### Raise visibility for a sale window

Add brand and category keywords, set a higher daily budget for the sale window, and add a [schedule](https://epsilo.ai/docs/automation/schedules.md) that raises the budget at the start and lowers it after.

### Control cost per click by keyword

Use **Manual**, add a short list of keywords that convert, and set a bid on each. Add a [script](https://epsilo.ai/docs/automation/scripts.md) that raises the bid when conversion rate is high and returns it to baseline when it drops. Example: if conversion rate today is 7% or more on a general keyword, raise the bid by 2% up to a cap you set.

### Launch with less to manage

Use **Auto**. You skip keywords and bids. Epsilo applies the minimum bid and Shopee picks targeting.

## Why a campaign stops

* The campaign budget is spent.
* The shop wallet balance reaches zero.
* The end date is reached.
* You, a schedule or a script paused it.
* A Shopee or Epsilo issue blocks delivery.

## FAQ

> [accordion] The campaign is ongoing but has no spend or impressions
>
> Check the wallet balance, the daily budget, the timeline and the ad object status. Then check keyword status and bids: bids must be inside the valid range for your market.

> [accordion] The campaign pauses again after I resume it
>
> Open [Automations](https://epsilo.ai/docs/automation/automations.md) and look for a schedule or script that pauses this campaign. If none exists, check the status in Seller Center. If Seller Center shows ongoing and Epsilo shows paused, wait for the next sync and refresh. If it persists, send the ad account ID and campaign ID to [support@epsilo.io](mailto:support@epsilo.io).

> [accordion] Publish fails and the campaign returns to Draft
>
> Check that the ad object has a name, that there is at least one keyword with a valid bid, and that no keyword is on Shopee's restricted list. For Auto, do not set a placement type; Shopee sets it.

> [accordion] I changed the budget but Seller Center still shows the old value
>
> Wait 10 to 15 minutes and refresh. Check the value meets the minimum budget for your market. Budget changes on the campaign or the ad object sync to Seller Center.

> [accordion] Spend in Epsilo does not match Seller Center
>
> Epsilo pulls performance on a schedule, so wait for the next sync. If the gap stays, send the ad account ID, campaign ID and date range to [support@epsilo.io](mailto:support@epsilo.io). See [Data syncing](https://epsilo.ai/docs/data/data-syncing.md).
