# How Epsilo fits together

> The objects in Epsilo and how they connect, from workspace to artifact.

## Overview

Everything in Epsilo lives in a workspace. You connect ad accounts into it, read them on Home, ask about them in Console, plan them with Targets and act on them with Automations. Answers you keep become artifacts, and Teamspaces split the work by brand or market.

## How it works

**1. Workspace**

Your company's space in Epsilo. It has a name and a handle, its own members and its own subscription. See [Workspace settings](https://epsilo.ai/docs/admin/workspace-settings.md).

**2. Ad accounts**

One connected account on an ad network, such as a Shopee shop or a TikTok Ads advertiser. Everything else reads from ad accounts. See [Ad accounts](https://epsilo.ai/docs/connect/ad-accounts.md).

**3. Home and Console**

Home is the top of Console and reads your day. Console is where you ask Botep, Epsilo's agent, about your data in plain words.

**4. Portfolio, Targets and Automations**

Portfolio is the book of every ad account. Targets set what each account should spend and return this month. Automations act on campaigns for you.

**5. Artifacts and Teamspaces**

An artifact is a saved answer that stays live. A teamspace is a room inside the workspace with its own ad accounts and members.

## Use it

### Workspace

You create one at sign-up. Owners and admins manage it in **Settings**, from the workspace menu at the top of the left menu. Each member has one role: **Owner**, **Admin** or **Member**. See [Members and roles](https://epsilo.ai/docs/admin/members-and-roles.md).

### Ad accounts

Connect them from **Connect ad account** at the bottom of the left menu, or from **Settings** > **Ad accounts**. Each ad account belongs to one network. See [Connect your first ad account](https://epsilo.ai/docs/getting-started/connect-your-first-ad-account.md).

### Home

Home sits on top of Console. It shows the **Inbox** band, what moved and what needs you. Pick a role and a cadence to change what it leads with. See [Home](https://epsilo.ai/docs/home/home.md).

### Console

Ask a question, scope it with **@**, and get text, tables and charts built from your synced data. See [Console](https://epsilo.ai/docs/console/console.md).

### Portfolio

Press Cmd K and pick **Portfolio**. Tabs include **Apply now**, **Pulses**, **Ad accounts**, **Platforms**, **Targets**, **Automations** and **Senses**. Open any ad account for its own page.

### Targets

Month Budget and Ads GMV per ad account, shaped by day. Lives in Portfolio > **Targets**. Available on paid plans. See [pricing](https://epsilo.ai/pricing). See [Targets](https://epsilo.ai/docs/targets/targets.md).

### Automations

One page for **Scripts**, **Schedules**, **Artifact schedules**, **Distributions** and the **Log**. Available on paid plans. See [pricing](https://epsilo.ai/pricing). See [Automations](https://epsilo.ai/docs/automation/automations.md).

### Artifacts

Select **Save as artifact** under any Console answer. Find saved ones in **Artifacts**, under **My artifacts** and **Workspace artifacts**. Put one on a schedule to send it to your team.

### Teamspaces

A teamspace holds a set of ad accounts and the people who work on them, for example one brand in one market. Owners and admins create them in **Settings** > **Teams**. Available on paid plans. See [pricing](https://epsilo.ai/pricing).
