# Tasks and My workflow

> Find every Console conversation in Tasks, and pin the things you reuse to My workflow.

## Overview

Every conversation you have with Botep is a task, and **Tasks** keeps all of them. **My workflow** is your shortlist: the artifacts, stories, campaign views and tasks you pinned because you come back to them. Both lists also show in the left menu, which keeps the top of each.

## How it works

**1. You ask in Console**

Each new conversation becomes a task.

**2. Tasks keeps it**

Tasks lists every conversation, newest first, grouped by time. Pinned tasks sit in their own group at the top.

**3. You pin what you reuse**

Pin a task, an artifact or a campaign view, and it joins My workflow.

## Use it

### Start a new task

On the Tasks page, select **New task**. Console opens on an empty conversation.

### Reopen a conversation

Select a row in Tasks. Console opens that conversation where you left it.

### Search your tasks

Select the search icon in the page header (**Search tasks**) and type part of the name.

### Rename, pin or delete a task

Open the row menu and select **Pin to my workflow**, **Rename** or **Delete**. Deleting asks you to confirm, then permanently removes the task and its artifacts.

### Act on many tasks at once

Check the box on several rows. A bar appears at the bottom with **Pin** (or **Unpin**), **Delete** and **Clear**.

### Organize My workflow

My workflow groups items by **Type** by default: Artifacts, Stories, Campaign views, Creative views, Ad account views, Ad accounts, Teamspaces and Tasks. Change it with **Group by** to **Date** or **None**. Drag a row by its handle to reorder; the left menu follows the same order. Dragging is off while you search or group by Date.

### Save or discard a changed view

When a pinned campaign view has unsaved changes, its row says so. Open the row menu and select **Save changes** or **Discard changes**.

### Unpin

Open the row menu in My workflow and select the unpin option. The item itself stays where it is; only the pin goes.

## On your phone

My workflow on a phone shows pinned artifacts and tasks. Campaign views are left out, because their tables are built for a desktop screen.
