# Schedules

> Change budget, bid or status at a set time, once or on repeat.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Find it in** Automations, Schedules tab, **New schedule** in the menu next to **New script**. **Last updated** 9 Oct 2026.

## Overview

A schedule makes a change at a time you set, with no condition. Use it for changes you already know you want: lift budget before the evening peak, pause overnight, raise budget across a sale window.

## How it works

**1. Pick the ad units**

**Apply rule to** sets the campaigns, ad objects, ad placements or ad creatives the schedule changes.

**2. Pick the change**

**Action** sets what changes, such as daily budget, bid or status.

**3. Pick the time**

**Schedule** sets when. Turn **Repeat** off for a one-time change, or on to repeat it.

**4. Publish**

Select **Publish**. The schedule shows on the **Schedules** tab and in the calendar.

## Use it

### Create a schedule

1. Open **Automations**, open the menu next to **New script** and select **New schedule**.
2. Name it, pick the ad units in **Apply rule to** and set the **Action**.
3. In **Schedule**, set the time. Select **Publish**.

### Repeat a schedule

Turn on **Repeat**, then set **Every** to **Day**, **Week** or **Month**.

* For weekly, pick the days in **On**.
* For monthly, pick the dates in **On the**.
* **Start** and the end date bound the period. **No limit** keeps it going.

Times follow the ad account's time zone.

### Copy a schedule to other days

Open the schedule's menu and select **Copy to other days**. Pick a first and last day, then confirm. Each copy keeps the action, ad units, status and run time. Only the date changes.

### See what lands when

Switch the **Schedules** tab to the calendar view. Choose **Month**, **Week**, **Day**, **2 days**, **3 days** or **4 days**.

## FAQ

> [accordion] When should I use a schedule instead of a script?
>
> Use a schedule when you know the change and the time in advance. Use a [script](https://epsilo.ai/docs/automation/scripts.md) when the change depends on performance.

> [accordion] Is there a ready-made schedule for sale days?
>
> Yes. The **Seasonal** templates ramp daily budget across the 9.9, 11.11 and 12.12 sale windows. See [Recipes](https://epsilo.ai/docs/automation/recipes.md).
